Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Radiation Therapy Medical Physicist at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center.

Job Requirements:

The Position will have the following requirements:

• Possess a minimum of three (3) years’ experience within the preceding five (5) years as a Therapeutic Medical Physicist in a hospital setting. Possess a minimum of one (1) year experience within the preceding three (3) years providing physics support for stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) procedures.

• Meet the qualifications required by the American College of Radiation Oncology for medical physicists supporting American College of Radiation Oncology accredited Computerized Tomography (CT) systems. Hold a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physics, Medical Physics, other physical science, engineering, or applied mathematics from an accredited college or university.

• Be listed on the Nuclear Regulatory Commission licenses as an Authorized Medical Physicist within the past five (5) years.
