 Position Highlights:

 Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Certification by the Board of Certified Psychometrists (BCP).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross.

Experience:

• Minimum one year of full-time experience in psychological and/or neuropsychological testing and test scoring within the last three years.

 Duties:

• Join the TBI Department exclusively, working under the day-to-day oversight of the Chief of the Traumatic Brain Injury Department.
• Independently perform duties in accordance with accepted psychological theories, methods, and techniques.
• Coordinate patient appointments and testing, ensuring efficient evaluation and diagnosis.
• Utilize therapeutic assessment and interview skills to understand patient conditions.
• Screen and assess patients, assisting providers with mental health diagnosis and treatment strategies.
• Maintain the security and inventory of psychological testing materials.
• Assist in providing specialized treatment and rehabilitation for brain-injured and mental health patients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure the best care for patients.
• Educate and explain neuropsychological services and procedures to patients and commands.
• Interact with other neuropsychology programs via telemedicine when needed.
• Occasionally, participate in educating medical students and similar trainees on the purpose and process of neuropsychological evaluations.
