Spectrum Health is Hiring an Environmental specialist Near Dearborn, MI

Job Summary

Under moderate direction, performs basic tasks according to highly specific departmental policies and procedures in order to maintain an aseptic, safe, clean, and attractive environment for the hospital.Essential Functions

  • Extract / Bonnet Carpets.
  • Strip / Finish, Scrub / Recoat Hard floors.
  • Remove Bulk Trash / Soiled Linen and Bio-Hazardous Waste.
  • Complete Project Work, as assigned.
  • Interact with Patients / Guests / Staff.
  • Complete Set-Ups / Furniture Moves.
  • Operate Electric / Battery Operated Rotary / Walk-Behind Machines, Wet Vacuums and Other Equipment, as required.
  • Deliver Supplies ( paper products, soap, etc.)
  • Complete miscellaneous cleaning tasks, as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Ability to understand simple oral instructions and communicate simple job-related problems.
