Title : Fabrication Specialist

Location : Salt Lake City, UT

Duration : 6 Months

Shift : 1ST & 2ND SHIFT - flexibility to work BOTH. 1st shift is 6 : 45 am - 3 : 30 pm and 2nd shift is 3 : 30 pm - 12 : 00 am.

Job Duties -

Prepares aircraft parts for painting. Makes necessary patterns, performs layout and applies prescribed primers, paints and finishes.

Performs machine set-up, machining and fabricating of sheet metal and extrusion. Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.

Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products. Prepares test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests.

Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks. Works on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements.

Hard Skills -

• Experience with hand tools preferred
• Familiar with blueprint interpretation
• Assembly experience preferred
• Composite material experience (fabrication and assembly) preferred
