Manufacturing Advanced Assembly

Key Job Elements :

The Manufacturing Worker is responsible for assembling and installing sub-assembly components on commercial HVAC products.

Most of the work will be in traditional assembly line fashion while working as a team. This method allows duties to be completed safely and promptly in accordance with relevant codes and quality standards.

The additional roles and responsibility are to assemble products based on blueprints, operating forming machines in the production process, pressing, assembling control panels, brazing, and welding products to move on to assembly.

Responsibilities :

The following is a list of the essential duties and responsibilities that are expected of the manufacturing assembly position;

however, additional duties may be assigned, as required.

• Assemble and install sub-assembly components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications
• Contribute to safety and process improvements
• Mounts and assembles electrical components
• Handle and maintain flow of materials and products through the production flow
• Maintain accurate daily production records
• Work from production systems, blueprints, and verbal / written instructions
• Responsible for the quality of product based on set standards
• Review unit assembly drawings and electrical schematics to develop a strategy to identify placement of components and sensors
• Troubleshoot wiring and component issues
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S, and Lean initiatives
• Help train new production employees as directed

• Cross-train within the department
• Perform other tasks as directed
• Work cooperatively with others
• Maintain a satisfactory work attendance
• Rotate through multiple stations as directed
• Work a variable work schedule as assigned
• Work overtime as assigned
• Stand for 95% of work days
• Work in cold / hot / dusty / loud environment
• Comply with all company policies and procedures

Education / Requirements :

• None
• Certifications : Preferred : EPA 608 Universal

Salary Range :

Hourly : $21 - $25 pay commensurate with experience and qualifications
