As an Assistant Store Manager, you work with your Store Manager to coach and develop the store team to deliver superb customer service to all customers and maintain your store to corporate standards. You are responsible for maintaining the operational standards and sales goals for your store. Our Assistant Store Managers commitment to their teams and stores is what drives the growth of our organization.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Maintain a high level of professionalism and positive attitude in the workplace
· Maintain inventory control, safety, loss prevention and expense control
· Accountable for financial reporting and operational metrics standards
· Implementing all operational and merchandising direction that is communicated from the Corporate Office
· Fully accountable for execution of sales, service, and customer experience initiatives in store, all while promoting the business
· Proven ability to delegate and follow through on goals and objectives
· Proven leadership and training skills
· Experience with merchandising
Staff Development/Management
· Recruiting, developing and managing high-performing teams
· Observe and coach employee to provide feedback around sales techniques and providing excellent customer service
· Develop your employees for growth and promotion by delegating appropriate responsibilities and inspecting completion constantly
· Ability to work efficiently, effectively and independently with minimal supervision
· Ability to work a flexible work schedule which will include morning, evenings, weekends and/or holidays
· Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
Requirements
· Must possess a minimum of 2 years in management
· Working knowledge of POS system preferred
·Driver's license and access to a vehicle
