Job Summary:
The F&B Manager is responsible for managing all operations for this high volume, full service, upscale restaurant. This career opportunity is for individuals with a bona fide passion for food and beverage, and unwavering drive to provide exceptional guest service. Extensive front of house knowledge that displays high functioning leadership, labor management, cost control and conflict resolution is essential for the success of this leadership position.
This person is also responsible for mentoring and coaching the team to consistently deliver a 5-Star experience to our employees, guests, partners and community. He/She is responsible for being an innovator in our industry, meeting financial goals, and for continuously refining guest experience and company culture.

Pay: $75000 - 90000 / year
Essential Job Duties:
• Responsible for completing Performance Reviews and making recommendations for the promotion, hiring, and advancement of banquet staff
• Responsible for the training and supervising all special events/banquets personnel in conjunction with the General Manager
• Oversees the private event ballrooms and banquet service staff in accordance with operating policies and standards.
• Responsible for ensuring that proper food handling procedures and cleanliness standards are being met by the staff.
• Handle guest issues with a calm and proactive approach
• Establish standards of performance to elevate all private event functions
• Execute the general responsibilities necessary to minimize operating costs.
Education/ Experience:
• Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage service procedures, strong background in hospitality in a full-service, upscale high-volume private event environment
• 3 years related experience as a Restaurant or Banquet Manager in an upscale, high-volume environment. Must have some special events experience.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Must be able to create and maintain a team-oriented atmosphere, and ensure that employees are appropriately trained and have an adequate work load.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong PC skills with a working knowledge of including but not limited to MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, and Outlook.
• Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in English.
Schedule Requirements:
• Full-time
• Schedule may fluctuate based on departmental requirements.
Physical Demands:
• Physical demands include light work, prolonged walking and/or standing along with the occasional exertion of up to 25lbs of force.
