Machine Operator

Specialty Lubricants Corporation is a custom packager of industrial greases and oils. We are currently seeking individuals for first 7:00 am to 3:30 pm) or second shift machine operator 7:00 pm to 3:30 am) positions. This individual will be responsible for the set-up, troubleshooting and running of the packaging line according to the work order instructions. They will be responsible to lead the line team in safety, quality and production efficiencies. Must complete all required paper work legibly and correctly and ensure a quality finished product is maintained.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years related experience

Qualifications

• Employee must be able to occasional lift and or move up to 50 pounds
• Employee must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to perform well within a team.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Mechanical skills needed to perform routine set-up and troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform simple basic math skills.
• Some experience in production facilities ISO 9001:2015 certified company preferred.
• Must be able to speak and read English.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operation by ensuring finished product meets the work order specifications.
• Responsible for the quality of the product produced on the line.
• Must lead production line team.
• Demonstrate basic leadership skills
• Responsible for the set-up of the production line in accordance to work order instructions.
• Troubleshooting line and make adjustments and minor repairs as needed to ensure continuous machine operation.
• Achieve daily production goals.
• Required to communicate and interact professionally with all levels of the organization.
• Accurately and neatly complete paperwork
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Follow Quality Control and Safety requirements at all times.
• Follow ISO 9001:2015 policy and procedures
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Safety and Housekeeping

• Follow all safety guidelines
• Must wear all required PPE
• Conduct self in a safe manner
• Must maintain a clean and safe work area.

Computer Skills

• Basic computer skills
