We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented front desk administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental setting, exceptional customer service skills, and a flexible schedule. Insurance processing and billing experience is a plus! This role is part-time with the exciting potential to evolve into a full-time position as our office continues to grow.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients into the office upon arrival, gathering necessary information such as patient demographics, insurance information and schedule the next appointment
• Deliver a distinctive patient experience with every patient both in person and over the phone
• Schedule new and existing patients
• Maintain a clean and welcoming patient waiting area
• Update necessary documents into patient chart 
• Outbound calls to patients for confirming upcoming appointments
• Additional duties as needed such as assisting with billing
• Handle a high volume of incoming calls
• Help with processing dental insurance claims and ensure accurate billing
• Verify patient insurance coverage and handle pre-authorizations
• Collect co-pays and outstanding balances
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
• Address patient inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns, including triaging emergencies
• Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow

This is a part time position. The schedule will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:40-3:45PM. Mondays and Fridays are on a as needed basis. The ideal candidate will have flexibility in their schedule.

Requirements

 Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a dental office is a plus but not required
• Experience in insurance processing and billing is a plus
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with children and parents
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
