Parkway Orthodontics is seeking a full-time Sterilization Technician to be part of our amazing team!
Our goal at Parkway Orthodontics is to provide a fun environment where all patients can have a positive dental experience while providing them top-quality orthodontic care. We are seeking dependable, fun, hard-working, proactive team players to join our practice. Office Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 7:30am – 5pm
- Friday: 7:30am – noon
Responsibilities:
- Run sterilization equipment to disinfect and sterilize clinical instruments.
- Package sterilized clinical instruments for restocking.
- Ensure sterilized clinical instruments are placed in the proper areas.
- Keep the sterilization station clean and orderly.
- Clean and disinfect treatment chairs and carts.
- Deliver impression and appliances to and from the lab.
- Perform standard maintenance on sterilization equipment and monitor sterility assurance testing strips.
- Assist the clinical team with other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Preferred Registered or Certified Dental Assistant, but not required.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and guidelines.
- Knowledge and understanding of cross contamination.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Compassionate and caring attitude toward patients and parents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
