SPECIALTY APPLIANCE is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near CUMMING, GA

Description

The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing and evaluating complex financial and operational data by gathering and normalizing disparate data from various sources. The Financial Analyst will assist with the creation and completion of the budgets forecasts, variances reporting, product pricing, and M&A evaluation and integration. This position reports to the Finance Manager and will work closely to the Chief Financial Officer.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Strong software skills with ERP and FP&A systems, preferred
  • Effective knowledge of Databases, SQL queries, and Data Analysis, preferred
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 in FP&A or similar/complementary role
  • Proven ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Independent, hands-on, and self-directed
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Advanced experience with Excel with modeling skills
  • Effective data visualization skills in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, or Tableau
  • An energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Job Duties/Requirements

  • Assist with preparation and completion of budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans
  • Work with functional business partners on budget, forecasts, and other investment requests
  • Analyze actual performance to budget/forecast and monitor trends of key performance indicators
  • Develop (as needed) and analyze financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes
  • Provide analytical insights of business performance
  • Use SQL queries to source data for ad-hoc analysis and special projects
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Improve upon current reporting and processes to drive efficiencies
  • Summarize complex financial data and make recommendations
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations for Board of Directors and Senior Management
  • Keep abreast of key trends in the company’s operations and the orthodontic industry, as well as collect and analyze data to gain a better understanding of what impacts financial results
  • Will help drive effective decision-making by building and presenting simulations, financial models, cost analyses, ROI, and proformas to assist with achieving strategic goals
  • Work with operational leadership to develop, implement, and monitor organization-wide KPI’s to support clear decision-making and drive ROI
  • Responsible for working with the operational leadership to drive efficiencies, guide decision-making, address manufacturing variances, and develop actions to reduce or eliminate variances in raw materials, product consumption, labor, and overhead
  • Aid in financial modeling and analyses on pricing decisions, contract negotiations, and purchasing capital equipment
  • Ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional when dealing with all types of people.
  • Safeguard and protect confidentiality of company and patient information as defined by the company’s Confidentiality Agreement.
