We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bill of Materials. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our production processes by managing the creation, maintenance, and optimization of our Bill of Materials (BOM).

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) for all products, including raw materials, components, assemblies, and finished goods.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Quality Assurance, to gather necessary information and updates for BOMs.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to accurately translate product requirements into BOM structures.
• Regularly update BOMs to reflect changes in product design, specifications, materials, or suppliers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze BOM data to identify opportunities for cost optimization, standardization, and efficiency improvements while maintaining product quality and performance.
• Work closely with Procurement to ensure BOMs align with supplier agreements, pricing, lead times, and availability of materials.
• Support Production and Inventory Management teams by providing accurate BOMs, resolving discrepancies, and addressing issues related to material availability or specifications.
• Implement and maintain BOM management tools, systems, and processes to streamline workflows and improve data integrity.
• Lead periodic BOM audits to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to BOM management, and proactively recommend relevant improvements or innovations.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and product structures.
• Proficiency in BOM management tools/software (e.g., ERP systems, PLM software, Excel) and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on maintaining data integrity and quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
