Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong patient-centered attitude and be willing to learn policies and procedures for in-house testing and processing of urinary drug screens.

Duties:

- Ensures that specimen meets sample requirements for in-house testing.

- Maintains proper inventory of supplies, dates and initials upon receipt.

- Reports Quality Assurance.

- Adheres to infection control procedures at all times.

- Professional and courteous to patient and clients at all times.

- Attends OSHA, Biomedical waste and any other training as necessary.

- Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.

- Time management and attention to detail in a busy clinical practice.

Experience:

- High school graduate required.

- Associates Degree preferred.

- Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.

- MS Office and Electronic Health Systems experience preferred.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
