Description:

The Training Instructor will have the primary responsibility of teaching the approved training curriculum (Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide) at our training school in Staten Island. When class is not in session this individual will conduct educational in-services for our Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aide as well as administer HHA/PCA competency evaluations.

Training will be done in accordance with all regulations and company policies.

Job Duties:

• Provide related instruction and supervise students.
• Proctor and grade tests.
• Document students progress and complete required forms/reports in their entirety.
• Prepare and submit a course of study including program objectives, student performance objectives and lesson plans.
• Perform other duties related to this position requested by the director, program coordinator, and company management.

Requirements

BSN Degree in Nursing

NYS Licensed and currently registered (in good standing) as a Registered Professional Nurse.

Must have 2 years Registered Nurse (RN) experience in New York City.

A minimum of 1 year in Home Care as a field Nurse.

Must have excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Bilingual (Preferred not required)

Training will be provided at our office in Gravesend Brooklyn

• We are open to bringing the ideal candidate on Part Time or Full Time
