This position is open for the 24-25 school year.The Barre Unified Union School District is seeking a Special Educator to join our special educator team at Spaulding High School. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: the provision of specialized instruction according to individual students' needs, conducting special education evaluations, preparing IEPs and behavior plans, scheduling and facilitating educational team meetings, coordination of services with outside agencies and other providers and supervision of paraprofessional staff. The right candidate will possess knowledge and skills related to MTSS and the ability to collaborate with classroom teachers to select, accommodate and/or modify classroom instruction to meet the needs of students' unique learning profiles.
