The Occupational Therapist (OT), under the direction of the Rehab Director/Manager, is responsible for assessment and evaluation of patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessment and adaptive equipment and other occupational therapy needs in the homecare setting. Responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing a medically prescribed treatment concerned with improving, restoring and compensating the patient to achieve maximum function. The OT is responsible for modifying treatment plans and procedures specific to age groups. The OT supervises Certified Occupational Therapists and Home Health Aides according to South Carolina Regulations. Other responsibilities will be assigned as appropriate.

Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) or successor organizations of ACOTE
Baccalaureate or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
