Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our team. As a Stocking Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory control, stocking shelves, and assisting customers with their needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse or retail environment and possess excellent customer service skills. Duties: - Receive and unload merchandise from delivery trucks - Sort and organize products in designated areas - Stock shelves and displays with new merchandise - Ensure accurate inventory control by conducting regular counts and reconciling discrepancies - Assist customers in locating products and provide information about pricing and availability - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and sales floor - Operate a forklift to move heavy items as needed - Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals Experience: - Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment preferred - Familiarity with inventory control procedures - Ability to operate a forklift is a plus - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Multilingual abilities are advantageous for communicating with diverse customers - Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to assist customers in a friendly and professional manner Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
