Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented SVP for our Systems Engineering & Analysis (SE&A) Program Directorate to join our team! Our Systems Engineering & Analysis (SE&A) Program Directorate is passionate about making Parsons the undisputed leader in the Systems Engineering & Integration and Engineering Services market because we understand that ensuring our nation's security for future generations depends on engineering services that support rapidly delivering new capability.
The SE&A Directorate is part of Parsons' Defense & Space Engineering Solutions (DSES) Sector; all focused on delivering innovative defense, and security services and solutions to enable a sustainable, safer, smarter, and connected world. Based upon our rock-solid foundation of world class talent; all with the bottom-line emphasis to support our U.S. and Joint Coalition Warfighters. They are our work purpose. We are here to serve our National Security objectives supporting our Soldiers, Sailors, Aviators and guardians in Space, Missile Defense, and Intelligence missions.
SE&A represents a highly complex, organization consisting of a cadre of highly skilled engineering and technical personnel to design, develop, integrate, and materially produce and deliver multiple technology capabilities for our DoD and Intel Community customers.
What You'll Be Doing:
Full P&L management of SE&A operations, including:
  • Manage day-to-day operations for a $300M engineering services business; delivery, execution, and staffing with total accountability for all financial objectives including bookings, sales, profit and strategy
  • Build and foster a culture of growth and stretching the organization to expand beyond existing program and customer base
  • Interacting at the highest levels of the corporate structure to influence, solve complex business issues and drive to solutions while engaging in a high level of constructive collaboration
  • Develop and lead a high performing team known for exceeding objectives
  • Proactively engage customers and maintain relationships on existing programs to constantly assess performance and seek feedback
Superior people engagement and management skills
  • Foster a culture of high trust, transparent communications and development opportunities
  • Engage proactively in creating a workforce of diverse thinking, while actively demonstrating the pursuit of diversity, equity, and inclusion in our workforce
Strategy
  • Ownership of the overall strategy and vision for SE&A, including how to represent its capabilities to the market
  • Lead the execution of M&A strategy, including the identification, due diligence participation and integration of acquisitions.
New Business
  • With support from business development, lead in the execution of the organic growth plan including identifying target clients and key executives, leveraging and partnering with the existing customer base
  • Proactively and directly engaged key customers to build the relationships it takes to win large programs through shaping, influencing and positioning Parsons
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities within targeted defense accounts that demonstrates an understanding of technology trends and needs of the client
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field and 20 years of experience with proven track record of running large P&Ls in excess of $300 M in annual revenue and driving growth for an engineering service business that services the Intelligence Community
  • Strong background and knowledge of missile defense and the SE&I market(s) (DoD & Intel) with proven ability for managing a large, diverse, and geographically distributed team specializing in Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I), Threat Analysis, and Engineering Services
  • Track record of delivering sales and profit objectives consistently and winning large programs that deliver consistent and repeatable growth
  • Must have strong familiarity with systems engineering methods and techniques as well as implementing Digital Engineering methods
  • Existing relationships and a track record of building relationships in the Intelligence Community with a focus on NRO and NGA
  • Active Top Secret clearance required with ability to achieve SCI
