Ready to advance your education and have the opportunity to work on large scale engineering projects with an Environmental focus?
Parsons is seeking motivated engineering students with an interest in Environmental Engineering for a summer 2024 intern position. In this role, you will get to support and learn from ongoing Environmental projects in Florida!
Parsons extensive expertise in Environmental projects, combined with your willingness to master, practice, and expand your engineering knowledge will propel your career forward.
Responsibilities:

• Develop professionally and connect with our company leaders through our organized intern program.
• Assist in the production of engineering calculations and drawings under supervision of senior engineers.
• Utilizes a CAD workstation to prepare engineering drawings.
• Utilizes technical manuals and directives to ensure compliance with codes and company policies. Becomes familiar with various standards and codes
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
• Provides support for other engineering activities as required.

Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in an engineering curriculum with a focus on Environmental Engineering at an accredited college or university and have completed at least one year of study

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Civil Engineering students nearing completion of undergraduate studies, or students currently enrolled in graduate studies are encouraged to apply.
• Prior completion of courses that are relevant to the specific discipline of Environmental Engineering is strongly preferred.
• Anility to solve problems, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are desired.
• Previous experience with AutoCAD is desirable.

Salary Range:
$21.44 - $37.55
