Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Database Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work with a leading edge team in developing and implementing a variety of sophisticated intrusion detection, access control, and video surveillance systems.
What You'll Be Doing:

• Provides the lead effort in meeting program and project contractual requirements through DOORS and Cameo applications.
• Provides direct subject matter expertise in developing proposals and designs relating to varying operating system environments and SQL databases.
• Works on the technical development of operating system environments with SQL databases.
• Implement cybersecurity requirements as per contractual requirements through government approved applications in accordance Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Designs, researches and develops highly advanced applications which contribute to new product/business opportunities.
• Participates in efforts to capture new business through technical work and capability briefings.
• Performs other systems engineering responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline degree related to area of specialty)
• Secret clearance with the ability to attain Top Secret, if needed
• 10 years of related professional experience
• 5 years of related professional experience maintaining and in-depth troubleshooting for Windows Domains and SQL Databases
• 3 years preparing and updating system accreditation documentation

• Requires knowledge of one or more platforms and operating systems and of programming languages such as C and C .
• Possesses expert understanding of subject matter.

• Potential to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a familiarity of industry practices and regulations are required.
• Knowledge of system engineering tools.
• Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to details.

Salary Range:
$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
