Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Rigger to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in rigging techniques, materials handling, mechanical knowledge, heavy equipment operation, and a minimum of 2 years with Class A CDL. Must have proficient experience setting up and rigging down a crane 15 Ton-300 Ton, using multiple spreader bars, 6 to 8 point lifts.

Responsibilities:

• make sure that the machinery is aligned, levelled and anchored
• prepare loads for transport by inspecting and preparing them
• operate cable, rope, pulley, winch, winches and other lifting equipment
• select the right pulleys, booms, braces and cables for various jobs
• assess the risks associated with lifting and moving heavy equipment through confined spaces
• ensure that safety procedures comply with state laws and company policies
• work closely with the rigging and construction teams
• clean, dismantle and store rigging equipment after the job is complete
• Willingness to work out of town when needed

Skills:

• Proficiency in shipping, receiving, and materials handling
• Experience with forklift operation and heavy equipment
• Strong mechanical knowledge for rigging tasks
• Class A CDL Required
• Skilled in rigging techniques and building structures
