Position: Clinical Fellowship Speech Language Pathologist (Part-Time)

Location: Victorville, CA

Position Type: Part-Time 

Hours: 7:30 a.m. -3:15 p.m

Description: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Fellowship Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a part-time basis. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or individual completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) to gain valuable experience in a clinic setting. As a Clinical Fellowship SLP, you will work under the supervision of experienced and licensed Speech Language Pathologists to assess, diagnose, and treat clients with various communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve communication.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, educators, and other therapists.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding communication strategies and therapeutic exercises.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as per ASHA guidelines.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
