Principal Summary
Develops and maintains internal and external relationships and assists in administrative work involved with business procurement quotes, purchase orders, and proposals, and otherwise relieves officials and business detail by performing the following duties:
Principal Activities
- edits and types of routine correspondence, charts, spreadsheets, and documents.
- for efficiently and accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining order data.
- with customers regarding quotes, purchase orders, and delivery status information.
- production, quotations, and due dates for proposals.
- purchase order pricing and lead time.
- material pricing, cost, and pricing data.
- business opportunities using government bidding websites and other mediums.
Education and/or Experience
- degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- years of experience working at a manufacturer of highly engineered alloyed products is highly desirable.
