Location: 100% remote; bonus to either be in Washington DC area or in the Orlando, FL area

Education: Bachelor’s in computer science or related field

Work Authorization: Must be a US Citizen

Clearance: Must be able and willing to obtain a Secret Clearance

Key Skills:

• Familiarization with Navy HR systems
• Must have DoD experience
• Experience integrating external interfaces
• Experience with web and data services

Responsibilities

• Review systems integration for external interfaces between multiple Navy HR systems.
• Support system specification updates and associated performance enhancements and interface development/upgrade efforts.
• Review and analyze system requirements and identify impacts to the appropriate requirements and/or design specifications.
• Provide subject matter expertise and systems engineering to maintain system design alignment with external programs of record.
• Identify integration issues and system requirements discrepancies across multiple systems.
• Develop process/control changes by identifying gaps/issues/areas for improvement, writing improved processes.
• Maintains system protocols, architecture, requirements, and associated design documents through traceability, updating procedures, analyzing system and program changes.

Qualifications

· 5 years overall IT related experience.

· 3 years working with complex software systems through the full development life cycle, using Agile, DevSecOps, or SAFE methodologies.

· Familiarization with Navy HR systems.

· Experience generating Salesforce interface and/or architectural artifacts preferred.

· Experience with web and data services.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

· Experience in a fast paced, external facing Customer Support or HR department required.

· Experience with functional and/or technical aspects of enterprise commercial off the shelf software packages and custom development.

· Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships in team environments and with other business organizations.
