Role: Site Reliability Engineer / SRE

Location: Atlanta, GA (Need Locals)

Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire

What to look for:

Working in the client environment requires a lot of communication and collaboration with people outside of the team so non-technical skills are nearly as important as technical.

- Strong ability to communicate verbally and be understood by all

- Tenacity to hunt down people and solutions outside your comfort zone and interact with people at all levels throughout

- Quantity of work output and quality are equal; can't have people that spend excessive time concerning themselves with non-important details, but also can't have people rushing through work and not testing or validating

- Willingness to not only work on technical tasks but create documentation and mentor and cross-train others

The person I'm looking for will be working exclusively in the client's Google Cloud Platform environment and not in our legacy environment so no AWS skills are required, but strong Google Cloud Platform skills are.

Must haves:

- Strong Kubernetes

- Strong Terraform

-Google Cloud Platform Experience

- Go background

- experience with Jenkins

Nice to haves:

- GitHub actions (we will likely be migrating from Jenkins to this in the coming months)

- Helm charts as an author not just consumer
