Part-time RN position (20 hours per week) responsible for the organization and evaluation of direct nursing care for a specific assignment. Surgery schedule is Monday through Friday, varied hours (no weekends or holidays, no call required),

Requirements
Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited learning institution. Minimum of three years work experience in direct nursing care is preferred.

•Demonstrated knowledge, skill and understanding of nurse role in a surgical setting.
•Advanced skill in patient safety in surgery setting; assume role as patient advocate.
•Advanced skill in clinical judgement, observation, knowledge and assessments with the ability to foresee needs that are essential to the success of the operation/surgery.
•Demonstrated ability to recognize and respond to opportunities for improvement through continual learning, changes in approach based on situation and professional practice behavior.
•Ability to operate general office equipment including computer software applications (e-mail, scheduling software, electronic health records, etc.)
•Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Exhibits professionalism in completing the circulating nurse role.
•Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the public, other agencies, employees and administration.
