With our hands on program, we will give you the skills you need to become a successful CNA in the nursing field. We will also help you get ready for your test, no worries. Class begins Wednesday, June 12th, 2024.

Class is Wednesday- Friday 8:30am- 5pm, program lasts four (4) weeks.  Pay rate: $12.00 hourly.

In order to START the program, you must complete the following:

• Fully Covid Vaccinated for the safety of the residents. 
• Must be 18 or older & a high school graduate (Or G.E.D.).

What Spanish Cove will provide:

• CNA Training course at NO COST to you.
• Pay for the CNA Test- $140 (When it is time for you to test)
• Full-time employment once you complete the program.

• Positions Available:

1. Long-Term Care: Day Shift: 5:45am- 6:15pm (Work 3 days, off for 4 days)

FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR RESIDENTS, WE ARE A FULLY COVID VACCINATED FACILITY. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Must be able to lift & move 100lbs. 
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation.
• Help with mobility around the facility or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Complete client’s shopping or accompanies them to do so successfully.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary
