Position Summary

SBS is seeking a Digital, Visual, Multi-Platform Editor to join our dynamic LaMusica and radio stations team in Miami. The Multi-Platform Editor ensures the seamless integration of radio content across digital platforms, maximizing audience engagement and brand visibility. Responsible for editing radio show clips, managing social media content, creating original multimedia content, overseeing social media sales initiatives, and covering external events. This position requires a versatile skill set and a keen understanding of digital media trends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Edit radio show clips and align with brand identity and audience preferences.
• Ensure all content meets quality standards and enhances audience engagement.
• Post edited content across social media platforms to maximize visibility and engagement.
• Manage social media platforms to promote edited content and LaMusica content effectively.
• Generate fresh ideas for original content creation.
• Oversee social media sales initiatives to ensure compliance with platform guidelines.
• Collaborate with On-Air Talent to develop original content that aligns with the station objectives and audience preferences.
• Ensure sponsored content adheres to social media platforms guidelines.
• Collaborate with sales team to seamlessly integrate promotional content into social media campaigns.
• Cover external events to capture audio and visual content for digital distribution.
• Enhance brand visibility by showcasing event highlights and engaging with the audience through multimedia content.

• Proficient in audio and video editing software.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and content optimization strategies.
• Clear understanding of legal and regulatory requirements, including copyright laws.
• Excellent communication skills, collaboration skills, and time management skills.
• Experience in event coverage and multimedia content creation.
• Ability to generate original engaging content.
• Familiarity with social media sales and promotional strategies.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English), preferred.
• Must be able to work well under strict deadlines and pressure.
• Able to work long hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary.
