Spalding Post Acute is Hiring a RN/LPN Unit Manager Near Griffin, GA

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Your leadership skills and clinical expertise will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures
- Monitor patient care activities to ensure compliance with standards of care and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct regular rounds to assess patient conditions and address any concerns or issues
- Assist with discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions of care for patients
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and medical records

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or LPN license
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Familiarity with discharge planning systems and processes
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
