SPADINA is Hiring a CAD Drafter Near Totowa, NJ
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our team. As a CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using various software programs such as AutoCAD(Primary), SolidWorks, and Revit. You will work closely with Sales, engineers, and Designers to translate their designs into accurate and detailed drawings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong attention to detail and a passion for design.
Duties:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit)
- Collaborate with Sales, engineers and Designers to understand project requirements
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from team members
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all drawings
- Generate bills of materials for projects
- Assist in the development of design standards and procedures
- Conduct research to stay up-to-date with the latest CAD technologies and techniques
Experience:
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, Sketchup, Civil 3D
- Strong knowledge of drafting principles and techniques
- Experience with 2D animation software is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
