POSITION SUMMARY
Strong background experience and knowledge for maintaining and troubleshooting machine and process problems on cold fill Beverage Equipment to include; Fillers, Seamers, Cappers, Depalletizers, Shrink Tunnels, Date Code Printers, Shrink Sleeve Applicators, Case packers, Refrigeration Equipment, R/O Water Systems, High Pressure Boilers, Glycol Chiller Systems & Lines, and Automated Liquid Process Systems.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow all safety procedures and work as safely as possible at all times.
Maintain all quality standards set for maintenance operations in the facility.
Troubleshoot equipment issues.
Perform skilled maintenance tasks on either brewery, canning and bottling equipment or building.
Possess a basic understanding of all mechanical operations in the facility.
Repair bearings, belt sprockets, chains and gearboxes.
Repair compressed air systems.
Repair conveyor controls and devices.
Perform conveyor lubrication and inspection, downline and fill room lubrication.
Repair and inspect hydraulic powered equipment.
Perform Lock Out Tag Out procedures when necessary.
Repair and maintain the R/O water system.
Install and repair PVC, copper, stainless and steel pipe systems.
Troubleshoot and repair pumps and valves.
Keep tools and work areas clean and sanitary.
Alert management to potential quality or safety concerns.
Log information immediately and accurately
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Two or more years of related experience in can or bottle production and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of proper and safe operation.
Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities.
Mechanical aptitude required.
Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.
Ability to work well at a fast pace in high pressure situations.
Strong attention to details.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret written information.
Demonstrated ability to meet productivity standards.
Observes safety and security procedures.
Good written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate professionally with co-workers.
