Responsibilities

What you'll do

• Lead and Manage the development lifecycle, ensuring effective deployment of software in production environments using .NET and AWS.
• Designing and developing s/w for large-scale production systems.
• Design robust software solutions that are scalable and reliable in production.
• Oversee the performance of software solutions in production, implementing monitoring and proactive issue resolution strategies.
• Actively mentor and groom junior and mid-level engineers, enhancing their technical skills, and guiding their career development. Lead by example and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Construct high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code in .NET frameworks.
• Work closely with various teams to ensure software solutions align with business needs and are successfully deployed.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and methodologies to improve the performance and reliability of production systems.

Qualifications

What you need

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET, AWS, and production systems.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring and grooming software engineers.
• Expertise in .NET frameworks and AWS cloud services.
• Proven experience with production system management and optimization.
• Strong experience in mentoring and developing engineering teams.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with system monitoring, logging, and alerting in production environments.
• Experience with AWS production environments (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in AWS or .NET.
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, Angular, React).
