Sozo’s operations include all stages, from cultivation to sale in medical and adult-use markets.
Job Summary:
We are on the lookout for positive, friendly, energetic individuals to join our industry-leading team and provide security for our team members and customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of licensed cannabis retail store regulations.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for Team Members and Customers, while being welcoming, friendly, and aligned with Sozo’s ethos.
- De-escalate and resolve security matters with professionalism, composure, and minimal disruption to guests’ experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- As the first person to encounter guests of Sozo, the Security Guard is welcoming, engaging, and guides new and returning guests into our store in compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
- Must pass all background checks
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
- Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 35 pounds (100 pounds with assistance). This job may require walking or standing for long periods of time along with lifting, bending over, and crouching
- Have a flexible schedule and be able to cover shifts in the event of a staffing deficit
