Overview

We seek an experienced and high-performing Enterprise Solutions Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture team. This is a hands-on role within our organization, and you will be expected to work closely with your peers to design, develop, and maintain an efficient and scalable enterprise architecture that supports Alex Lee's growth, innovation, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, a deep understanding of technological trends, and be a strong collaborator.

Responsibilities

1) You will collaborate with technology owners, peers, and key stakeholders to create a comprehensive enterprise architecture strategy that supports business goals, enhances system integration, and optimizes technology investments.2) You will roll up your sleeves and partner with your peers in the Data, Infrastructure, Security, Development, and Functional teams to understand their needs and challenges, translating them into actionable architectural solutions that support their operations and long-term strategies. 3) Mentor and educate various technology and business teams to enable the adoption of best practices. 4) Define and maintain a technology roadmap that outlines the evolution of the enterprise architecture, ensuring it aligns with our business objectives, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.5) Assist in establishing value-adding, realistic, and implementable technology roadmaps, architectural principles, standards, guidelines, and best practices across the organization, ensuring consistency, security, and efficiency in technology solutions.6) Assess and recommend solutions for potential risks associated with technology architecture decisions and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.7) Evaluate the feasibility of new technologies, software, and hardware, recommending their potential integration into the existing enterprise architecture.8) Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 9) Conduct educational sessions to increase the organization's awareness and understanding of enterprise architecture principles.10) Create a comprehensive solutions portfolio inventory for functional and technical capability heatmap tracking, Strategic planning, and budgeting.11) Democratize decision-making by facilitating a minimum viable architecture framework.12) Ensure TCO and ROI implications are factored into architecture decisions, solution evaluations, and selections.13) Develop Metrics and KPIs to enable closed-loop feedback improvement mechanisms.14) Develop an understanding of our IT infrastructure while actively searching for improvement areas.15) Evaluate existing and emerging technologies on a regular basis.

Qualifications

General Capabilities- Proven experience in using a feedback loop to track success.- Exceptional decision-making skills, balancing conflicting interests in complex, fast-paced environments.- Ability to Influence without Authority- Ability to create a clear vision for architectural direction and articulate that to all levels of stakeholders.

Business Acumen- Experienced in consuming and understanding functional strategic objectives.- Prior experience in retail, warehouse, and/or logistics management is a plus.

Education & Experience- Baseline Qualifications- Proven experience (Minimum 4 years) in enterprise architecture, technology strategy, or a related IT leadership role- Working knowledge of EA Frameworks (Zachman, TOGAF, ArchiMate, Gartner)- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or business.

Data- Strong working knowledge of modern Integration patterns- Work knowledge of GS1 architecture & standards- Strong knowledge of MDM (Master Data Management), CDP, Data Modeling techniques, and Data architecture patterns

Infrastructure- Thorough understanding of scalable distributed, public/private cloud, and SaaS/PaaS Technologies.- Strong understanding of Microsoft DevOps and Azure pipeline design

Security- Strong understanding of Azure DevOps pipeline testing

Application Development- Extensive experience in the design, development, and delivery of software products- A well-grounded knowledge of engineering and continuous integration and delivery via CI/CD practices.- Proven expert understanding of the agile development process and DevSecOps practices.- Proven experience in solution metrics
