Southwyck Park Apartments is Hiring a Property Manager Near Toledo, OH
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties. The Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of 120 unit apartment complex, maintaining tenant satisfaction, and maximizing property value.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, rent collection, and tenant relations
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants
- Screen potential tenants, conduct background checks, and facilitate lease agreements
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance with vendors and contractors
- Address tenant concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, leases, and contracts
- Utilize Total Management to track work orders, invoices, and tenant rental accounts
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of legal administrative procedures related to property management
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically
- Proficient in property leasing practices and procedures
- Knowledge of facilities management principles
- Ability to negotiate contracts and agreements effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to multitask and work independently
