Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is Hiring a Developmental Services Therapist Near Evansville, IN

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time Developmental Services Therapistto add to our team of professionals. This position will provide clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and ongoing therapeutic treatment services in the clinic and in the community to children and families to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.


$3,500 Sign-On Bonus for full-time, 50% paid at 90 days and 50% paid at 180 days of full-time employment.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Conduct assessments and treatment services according to Southwestern policies.
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and emergency/crisis intervention services.
  • Provide individual, group, conjoint, and family therapy to youth and their families, either in the home/community, office, or school setting.
  • Maintain appropriate records of services to reflect progress and document treatment plans and goals.
  • Maintain documentation and submit reports according to established time frames.
  • Communicate professionally, make referrals and coordinate services with community agencies.
  • Meet efficiency standards which include chart management, production requirements, and patient contact standards.
  • Attend and participate in weekly clinical staff meetings.
  • Participate in ongoing staff training and development activities as assigned to enhance job performance.

WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?

  • Applicants must hold an LSW, LCSW, LMFT or LMHC.
  • Possess the ability to assess emergency situations and react in an appropriate and therapeutic manner.
  • Experience working with children who have a Dual Diagnosis of both Serious Emotional Disturbance and Neurodevelopmental Disorder is preferable.
  • Must obtain and maintain Welle certification.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and carry personal auto insurance on vehicle(s) driven for employment purposes.
  • Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, sex offender registry check, CPS checks, fingerprinting and drug screen.
