Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time Residential Recovery Care Coordinator to add to our team of professionals. This position will provide case management services and skills training to clients with primary substance use disorder diagnoses.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Provide services to include case management, skills training, and primarily with clients in the Stepping Forward programs and also in the 3.5 residential program as needed.
  • Complete pre-intake paperwork, care plan reviews and state reporting documentation as assigned.
  • Maintain appropriate records as required for case management services and skills training according to Southwestern’s policy.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of food and household supplies.
  • Maintain data for on-going program evaluation and improvement.
  • Advocate on behalf of individuals with primary substance use disorders.
  • Demonstrate the ability to assess and respond to psychiatric crisis situations.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and providers to ensure high quality of medical care for clients.
  • Maintain contact with other service providers, community agencies, schools as well as civic organizations to enhance community awareness and public relations.
  • Conduct consultation and education activities as needed to Southwestern staff and other professional groups, or community members.
  • Provide backup assistance to other services in Addictions Services as assigned.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a residential environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and filing cabinets. This role has the possibility of exposure to inside environmental conditions, such as noise and infectious/communicable diseases, insects, possible exposure to distressed patients, families or visitors.

WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?

  • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a human services related field.
  • Must be an Other Behavioral Healthcare Provider (OBHP).
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with those with primary substance use Disorders.
  • Must hold or obtain valid driver’s license.
  • Must obtain and maintain Welle training.
