Southwest Search is Hiring a Senior / Staff Accountant Near Dallas, TX
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Controller with month-end close and reporting
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries
- Understand and implement accounting rules and regulations and apply them into the accounting processes
- Accomplish variance analysis and review of General Ledger
- Support internal customers by serving as the point of contact for any questions related to financial results
QUILIFICATIONS:
- 2-5 years in Accounting required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Maintain ongoing training relevant to any new upgrade in accounting pronouncements
- Proficient in computer skills in Microsoft Excel (Advanced Excel preferred), Outlook, Word, QuickBooks, etc.
- Knowledge and understanding of Accounting Principles & Terminology
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Build effective and constructive relationships
- Conduct a thorough search for relevant information when approaching problems
- Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently
