Job Description:

Provide clerical support to staff members in the preparations of correspondence, reports, protocols and forms from electronic input. Proofread technical and various documents for spelling, punctuation and grammar in accordance with Department procedures. Utilize and maintain various database for management of proposals, establish projects, maintain project files, prepare billing memos and run reports. Close projects, archive, purge and track files in database. Maintain Client and telefax in include service calls and supplies. use of scanner, photocopy, fax and binding machines. Answer phone calls, route calls and take messages. Assist with receiving and distributing mail, department meeting/functions, receptionist and on campus runs using institute vehicles as needed. Assist with maintaining clean communal areas and with making coffee for employees and guests.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must have a HS Diploma or equivalent
• Must be proficient in Word and Excel and knowledge of access or other databases
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Must be well organized, dependable and detailed oriented
• Must be able to lift 5-15 lbs unassisted
• Must pass an MVR
• Position is considered safety sensitive and open to random drug testing
• Must be able to work overtime as needed

Dress Code: Professional Attire
Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm. May have to come in early or stay late as needed
