Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Put a patient at ease
  • Gain the trust of the patient by being personable and comforting
  • Create a fun, inviting experience for patient
  • To multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Get along and work effectively with others
  • Assisting chair-side
  • Taking records, impressions, or x-rays
  • Using computers to update electronic patient records
  • Assisting with lab tasks as needed
  • Assisting with front office tasks as needed
  • Assisting and helping other team members

Education/Experience:

  • High school or equivalent (required)
  • Two years of dental assisting (preferred)

Qualifications:

  • Ability to multi-task, and work in a fast paced environment
  • Get along and work effectively with others
  • In-depth knowledge of dental health and safety regulations (HIPAA)
  • Ability to meet the physical qualifications of the position
  • A patient and friendly personality
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Detail oriented charting
  • Experience preparing and maintaining dental equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
