Current opening for a Behavior Interventionist - Social Communications Program - Mason, Ohio
The position is located at the WCESC Western Row Campus full-time 5 days a week (Monay - Friday).
The Warren County Educational Service is looking for dedicated and caring individuals who have experience working with individuals who have intensive behavioral needs in a 1:1 or small group environment. We are offering a competitive salary ranging from $23 to $33 per hour based on years of experience and qualifications within this field. You will be able to follow the school schedule with holiday break, spring breaks and summers off! Behavior Interventionist - Western Row Campus, Mason, OH
Title: Behavior Interventionist
Reports to: Director Student Services and Programming
FLSA Status: Exempt
Qualifications: Experience in evidence-based practices around behavior
Knowledge in research based instructional strategies
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
Access to motor vehicle
Effective communication skills
Ability to lift 40 pounds unassisted
Ability to maneuver stairs unassisted
Educational Aide Permit
Pass criminal background check
Job Purpose:
The job of a behavior interventionist is to provide support, monitoring, and training using behavior management techniques, intervention strategies, coping skills, and problem solving for students with behavioral challenges.
