Job Summary:Provide presale technical services, including developing new physical security system designs/proposals and conducting product demonstrations, training, and support to Sales team.

Job Duties:Minimum job duties include the following.

· Work with the Sales team to design new physical intrusion detection systems based on customer risk profile and site considerations: Review RFP’s and project schematics toward generation of quotations, conceptual site layout drawings, wiring diagrams, and other required submittal materials.

· Enter customer and project quotation information into CRM system.

· Provide pre-sale support to customers.

· Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations at trade events and customer sites.

· Travel to customer sites for surveys, proof of concept installations, system commissioning, troubleshooting, and operator training.

· Serve as backup for conducting training classes at the factory or at customer locations.

· Provide technical assistance to other groups or departments as needed.

· Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Experience:

· Two to three (2-3) years of experience in a Technical Sales or Service environment, Technical knowledge in the areas of physical security, video surveillance, access control, or related products preferred.

· Illustrated proficiency in the development of technical drawings and schematic diagrams.

· Understanding of network communications, and system configuration/integration.

· Excellent communication skills, enabling professional interaction with internal and external customers.

· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint) toward the development of technical drawings.

· Must possess a valid AZ Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Education: Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Physical demands:Must be able to stand and walk outdoors for long periods of time to supervise the installation of test zones, climb ladders at various heights, and lift up to 25 pounds. Air and vehicle travel, including weekends, is required.
