For more information, please visit us at POSITION SUMMARY Fairfax is looking for a Full time Day Shift Patient Access Coordinator to join our Intake team.

The PAC is also cross-trained and utilized as a Hospital Services Representative (HSR), thereby assuming the responsibilities associated with the patient discharge / check-out function.
Additionally, the PAC is responsible for performing various administrative and clerical duties required to support these functions and, on an as-needed basis, may be required to perform other tasks.
Wage Range : Minimum : $20.29 / hour Maximum : $26.77 / hour Qualifications Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience : At least two years working experience in a hospital or Dr. Office setting helpful. Strong background in customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Needs to have a general knowledge of patient accounting which includes billing and reimbursement requirements.
