Southwest Health System is Hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Near Cortez, CO

** $10K SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE W/2 YEARS EXPERIENCE **

** $60K STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENT/TUITION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE! **

Responsible for performing and observing laboratory tests on patient specimens and correctly recording all results. Uses and maintains all laboratory equipment correctly. Perform all testing following all policies and procedures approved by the Laboratory Medical Director, including all safety regulations.

MLT Regulatory/Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
  • 1-3 years Medical Laboratory Technician experience preferred.
  • National certification ASCP or AMT or eligible.
  • Current certification in BLS CPR.

Language Skills:

  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Skills:

  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills.
