Description

Under general supervision, the Deposit Operations Specialist provides accurate and efficient servicing of all deposit-related functions to ensure that questions and requests for assistance are handled timely. Will be cross-trained in all areas of Deposit Operations and CRC. When not fulfilling a specific position in Deposit Operations or CRC, will be assigned to special projects.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Deposit Operations duties include but not limited to:

• Wire Transfers;
• Overdraft Program;
• Quality Control and Document Tracking;
• NSF/Non-posted Items;
• Fraud monitoring and dispute resolution;
• Account & Customer Maintenance;
• Check Adjustments.

CRC duties include but not limited to:

• Answer and transfer calls appropriately.
• Assist customers with various requests via phone with respect;
• Assist with setting up Online Banking and related features;
• Assist with tickets submitted by the branch employees;
• Order debit cards and checks as needed;
• Assist with research requests;
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of related work experience in deposit operations or branch experience.
• Proficient understanding of debits and credits.
• Thorough working knowledge of MS Office; strong Excel skills.
• Thorough understanding of core and support bank processing system.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Excellent verbal communication.
