We are currently seeking a VP of Operations for our corporate office in Houston, Texas. In this role, the incumbent will develop and execute a strategic vision and plan for their water and wastewater practice throughout our organization. Align the practice's goals with the company's - strengthening its foundation and aiding with expansion into other states. Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying growth opportunities and ensuring client satisfaction. Provide expert guidance and mentorship to project teams, fostering collaboration and delivering results Growing out a team nationally. Provide technical leadership and guidance on water and wastewater projects and environmental issues.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic vision and plan for their water and wastewater practice within our territories
• Align the practice's goals with the company's - strengthening their foundation in Texas and aiding with expansion into other states
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying growth opportunities and ensuring client satisfaction
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to project teams, fostering collaboration and delivering results
• Growing out a team nationally
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on water and wastewater projects and environmental issues
• Be part of a company-wide leadership team that is growing nationally into other states
• This position requires 25% - 35% travel and will frequently travel outside the local area, overnight.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Manage Operations Managers

Educational Background & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related subject. MBA is preferred.
• 15 years industry experience with 10 of those being in key leader roles.
• 10 years of multi-location management experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of P&L management experience.
• 10 years of management experience in liquid waste removal, transport, and disposal is preferred.
• 10 years of management experience in transportation and logistics is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal skills with senior leadership and field employees.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft exchange skills.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, inquisitive, high standards of accuracy and highly organized.
