Railroad Yark Worker - Frederick, CO

The Position:We are seeking a Full time Railroad Yard Worker to join ourteam in Frederick, CO. 

Essential Responsibilities and Duties*:

• Ability to sort and organize rail cars
• Ability to couple and uncouple cars
• Ability to scale trucks in and out
• Inspecting equipment for safety and maintenance issues
• Ability to operate switches and signals
• Communicate directions and needs with other yard personnel and train crews.
• Assist in loading and unloading freight
• Operate forklifts as needed (experience is a plus)
• Enforce proper housekeeping practices and maintain a clean and organized yard, free from debris, spills, and waste
• Support operators with various tasks as required
• Perform special projects and execute other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft 365
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• MUST BE SELF-MOTIVATED AND HARD WORKING.
• Ability to avoid distractions during working hours, exp: stay off cell phone.
• Must be able to lift 50 LBS, multiple times per day with or without accommodation.
• Must satisfy background check and drug screen criteria.
• Must possess a Valid Driver's License.
