The Position: WRM has openings for Plant Laborer II who will be responsible for running the daily operations of our grease and/or wastewater processing operations.

A WRM team membersenjoys consistent work that is not subject to weather or economic fluctuations. Most of our shifts run Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operates day-to-day production of brown and yellow grease.
• Continuously monitors systems and maintains boiler equipment to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Ensures equipment is in good condition and operating within safety limits.
• Monitor of meters, gauges, and controls to determine the need for repairs, replacement of parts or recalibration.
• Oversees and manages inventory levels.
• Coordinates inbound and outbound shipments.
• Maintain and enforce good housekeeping that keeps the plant free from debris, spills, and waste.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Frequently operates company vehicles on site.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Has a mechanical aptitude, including experience with pumps & valves is desired.
• Ability to climb scaffolding/ladders over 30 ft above ground.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Must have a valid driver license.
• Highly motivated, self-starter.
• Good at troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Must be able to travel up and down catwalk stairs repeatedly.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times a day.
• Experience around hi-voltage equipment &chemicals preferred.
