Southview Dental Care is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Moorhead, MN

Southview Dental Care is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our patient focused general dentistry practice. We are growing/expanding and proudly offer convenient access to dental care in and around the surrounding community. Primary Function:

- Provide chair side assistance and clinical support to the Doctor.
- Ensure patient comfort and build relationships
- In-house lab/Same day crown technology
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take dental x-rays and enter information into dental software
- Pack, receive, check laboratory work and inventory lab cases
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a dental assistant program or relevant work experience
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology
- Excellent interpersonal skills to relate with co-workers and patients
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (e.g., Eaglesoft)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 35 per week
