Smart Phone Remote Repair Technician

This individual will serve as our go to technician when customers elect to have their smart phones repaired anywhere other than in-store. Repairs will be limited to front screen and battery replacements only. All repairs will be completed inside the mobile unit and will follow all SOP. The technician will adhere and follow all traffic laws and be responsible in maintaining the mobile unit and its contents in impeccable condition.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area throughout the day.
• Ensure van and all work related equipment are fully functional.
• Ensure van is stocked with the required parts for repairs daily.
• Safely travel to all appointments and complete jobs in a timely manner.
• Diagnose, repair and or replace all devices as necessary.
• Perform IQC/OQC checks and follow SOP.
• Answering any questions the customer has about their repair.
• Promote our Asurion Home program by relaying the benefits of the program to the customer's needs.
• Assist store technicians as needed.
• Complete all trainings as required.

Qualifications:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred).
• Driver's License.
• US work authorization.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Excellent technical, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Certification.
• Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT).
• Experience repairing electronics, smartphones, PC/Macs and game consoles.
• Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics
• Previous experience working at a retail electronics store.
